Synopsis: |
|
In complete contrast to his previous movie Human Traffic, Danny stars in this powerful drama set in the trenches of World War 1, in the 48 hours leading up to the Battle of the Somme. It's harrowing and traumatic as the soldiers contemplate what awaits them "over the top". There are friendships and fights, excitement and terror and nerves stretched to the limit as they wait for the start of the bloodiest massacre in British military history.
Outstanding performances from all the cast.
